Golden Pursuits

A New Challenge Arises is a limited-time Golden Pursuits campaign running from June 18 to July 7, 2026, built around the Challenge Difficulty system launched with Update 50. Activities involve overland ESO content with the new optional difficulty settings. Progress is tracked automatically in the Group and Activity Finder, and all earned rewards are claimed from the Golden Pursuits menu before the campaign ends — after July 7, unclaimed rewards are no longer accessible. ESO Golden Pursuits Boost on Overgear completes all campaign activities on your account before the deadline.

A New Challenge Arises rewards are tied to five activity milestones: 10,000 Gold at 3 activities, 100 Transmute Geodes at 6, 2 Iron Atronach Crown Crates at 8, 10,000 Tel Var Stones at 10, and 30,000 Gold at 12. All rewards are account-wide and remain permanently after the campaign ends. ESO Golden Pursuits Boost on Overgear covers 12 activities — the exact count to claim every reward in the campaign.

An active ESO account is the only requirement. The Challenge Difficulty system used in this campaign is free for all players — no ESO+ subscription or DLC is needed to participate. No character level or content unlock is required beyond the base game.
